We have all heard the news about . We’re being told that we must reuse and recycle. We’ve all been told about conservatory emissions and the carbon footprint until it sounds like a cliche. What does it all mean?

Conservatory Gas

In order to talk about conservatory gases, we first have to know a small about the Planet’s atmosphere. It’s not just about the air we breathe. In space planet has gases all around it. The gas protects us from things that we could potentially get killed by. It also regulates temperature.

This layer is a combination of oxygen, nitrogen, methane, ozone, water, and carbon dioxide. They are called conservatory gases. The problem is that humans have artificially increased the level of conservatory gases.

What is a Carbon Footprint?

Machines that require power are what we have built our lives around. This list includes cars and all forms motorized transportation; home appliances, factory machines, and the list goes on. We burn fuel to power the machines. We increase that radiates from planet when we burn fuel. This changes levels in the atmosphere.

The change in temperature causes more extreme weather between seasons. We may have colder winters and hotter summer. In fact, the summer of 2010 in the Eastern US, is proving to be one of the hottest on confirmation.

Levels of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere have increased a lot. Fossil fuels are fuels we have to dig into the ground to find. Increased levels of carbon dioxide are the carbon footprint.

What can I do?

Scientists warn that we have to reduce out carbon footprint. One way to do this is to conserve energy. Carpooling and minimizing driving each day is another way. By fluorescent lights in your home is yet another way. They are splendid ways to conserve energy. In the long run, they will save energy and money.
