Macbook Pro… How to set password when lid is open?

i use to have like when i close the cover of the macbook still on it sleeps. but when i open it it goes into the password where u set it. i went to my logic preferences to turn the password off after you close the lid and opening it.
Now my problem is that i want that password settin back when you open the lid after it is closed. i take place to not find it in energy saver . plz help
