Is there anyway to stay connected to the internet, while the lid to your MacBook is closed?

Whenever I close my , I get kicked off of the internet (and .) Is there anyway to stop this from happening?

Adjusting the Energy in Logic Preferences does not work, and niether did that Sleepless program.

    Leave your MacBook open. Is this obvious?

    Maybe you must be getting the IM thing working on your Cellphone instead. YIKES!

    There’s no way, once you cloe the lid, it disconnects internet connection, you can leave it as it is with the lid open. If you want to refrain access to other people, try putting a screen saver password, so that people dont have access to your pc.
